Ragging includes any act that involves harassment, intimidation, humiliation, or abuse (physical or mental) directed at a new or existing student. This includes:
- Verbal abuse, name-calling, or bullying.
- Physical assault or forcing students into objectionable activities.
- Psychological intimidation or creating an atmosphere of fear.
- Forcing students to perform demeaning tasks against their will.
3. Anti-Ragging Committee & Squad
To ensure a safe learning environment, the college has constituted the following bodies:
- Anti-Ragging Committee – Comprising senior faculty members, hostel wardens, student representatives, and administrative staff.
- Anti-Ragging Squad – A task force that actively monitors the campus and responds to complaints immediately.
4. Preventive Measures
- Strict Monitoring: Surveillance across campus, hostels, and common areas.
- Awareness Programs: Orientation sessions for students to educate them on anti-ragging laws and consequences.
- Mentorship & Counseling: Senior students and faculty mentors assigned to guide and support new students.

5. Reporting & Disciplinary Action

7. Student Responsibilities
- Every student must sign an Anti-Ragging Affidavit at the time of admission.
- Students must report any form of ragging they witness.
